The Chairman, King’s Touch and Care Foundation, Engr. Olufemi Akosile has emphasized the need for people across the state most especially the good people of Oriade/Obokun federal constituency to adopt necessary precautionary measures against COVID-19.
The Osun State born philanthropist cum administrator encouraged all and sundry not to panic as he urged Osun State governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, to as a matter of urgency put in place necessary facilities to curtain the spread of the virus as Osun has recorded its first case.
Engr. Akosile said it has become imperative for all and sundry to adhere strictly to the directive of the governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, on the banning of public gatherings in the state.
He equally appealed to the general public to shun hands shaking, hugging and any form of contact just as he urged members of the public to imbibe the spirit of regular hand washing, application of sanitizer to rub their hands and keeping safe distance from one another.
Furthermore, he enjoined anyone that notice prolong sneezing, coughing and shortness of breath to report himself or herself to the appropriate hospital for timely treatment.
